CRWR 3006 - Editing for Writers

This course is the capstone designed to complete students' undergraduate Major in concepts of editing and publishing. It will develop students? detailed understanding of both self-editing theory and practice, and the role of the editor in publishing final texts. The course will embed a deep knowledge of current theories and practices in editorial practices and styles, and investigate the various technologies and approaches used by publishers both locally and internationally. The course will enhance students' capacities in academic and creative literacies and research skills, provide opportunities for both team work and independent research, and develop critical thinking and reasoning skills.
