Research Interests
My research interests are nurient cycling and microbial ecology
In the past, I concentrated on interactions between plant roots and microbes in the rhizosphere and how this influences phopshorus uptake by plants .
Then I became more interested in soil organic carbon dynamics and how they are affected by soil salinity and water content.
Of particular interest to me now are organic carbon dynamics in:
sandy soils amended with clay
acid sulfate soils
