Artificially sweetened beverage consumption lifts gestational diabetes risk

Pregnant women who consume five or more drinks of artificially sweetened beverage (ASB) a week increase their risk of developing gestational diabetes by six per cent, new research from the University of Adelaide has found.

From Fertility to Family - Discover the science of what makes for healthy children

We are excited to be part of Science Alive! this year, Australia’s single largest, interactive science exhibition for families. Taking place on Saturday and Sunday, 2 and 3 August at the Adelaide Showgrounds, this incredible event brings science to life with interactive displays, hands-on activities, and something for curious minds of all ages.
