More Information

Year 10 to 12 Students

If you've decided on a career path that takes you to university, have a look at our list of careers on Program Finder to get some guidance on what degree(s) to apply for.

Browse the Study Selector (pdf 203kB) to find out information such as cut-off scores, HESS requirements and the length of programs. Using your Tertiary Entrance Rank (or International Baccalaureate score) you can apply to SATAC for entry into a range of undergraduate programs.

There are a range of financial options to assist with your cost of living as a student, including Commonwealth assistance and Scholarships.

Year 10 and 11 students can prepare for uni by carefully choosing SACE subjects to ensure they fulfil the pre-requisites and assumed knowledge for their chosen program(s) as well as meeting the HESS requirements.

As a university student you’ll expected to be a lot more independent and for some people this can be a difficult transition. The University offers a range of excellent support services to help you including academic and personal counselling, study skills workshops, disability access and support, a medical centre, accommodation office, and a careers service.

But it’s not all about study – there are lots of campus activities and events such as O'Week, plus sports and recreation clubs to join – so make the most of your opportunities to take a break from study.
