Mr Ron Seidel

Ron is a graduate of the University of Adelaide in electronics engineering, computer science and education. After a career in lecturing and executive management he retired and joined the University as a volunteer in the Talking with Aussies program. This program gave him the opportunity to use his experience to personally assist international students, most HDR candidates, for over 20 years.

His experience over the years has convinced him that it is increasingly important for professionals to be able to extract the critical aspects of their work and to explain these aspects to an audience using language that they can adequately understand. The 3MT affords HDR candidates the opportunity to critically review their work and to present the salient aspects to an audience, all in 3 minutes.

For this reason he is delighted to support the 3MT Competition.
