Adelaide University and Cornell University are partnering to advance a shared vision of delivering world-class research and education that drives meaningful global impact.
At the centre of this collaboration is the One Health Alliance, a joint initiative supported by both institutions and the American Australian Association. The Alliance brings together expertise across human, animal, and environmental health to support interdisciplinary research, training, and global engagement opportunities for Adelaide University staff and students.
To launch this initiative, Adelaide University and Cornell University are hosting six online information sessions, focusing on three priority One Health themes including Cancer Research, Infectious Diseases, and Reproductive Resilience.
Each theme will be delivered in two sessions, one hosted by Adelaide University and one hosted by Cornell University, providing multiple opportunities to engage across time zones.
These sessions will bring together leading researchers from both institutions to showcase current research activity, identify potential research areas of interest, explore key thematic research areas, build connections across disciplines, and provide information about One Health Alliance funding and mobility opportunities.
Each information session is designed to showcase the partner institution’s research strengths, with Adelaide University hosting presentations from Cornell University lead academics, and reciprocal sessions at Cornell featuring Adelaide’s leading researchers.
This series is designed for Adelaide University and Cornell University researchers, academics, staff and students interested in international collaboration in One Health-related fields. By attending, you will gain insight into the One Health Alliance and its strategic priorities, connect with potential collaborators at Adelaide University and Cornell University, explore staff and student mobility opportunities, and contribute to shaping future joint research initiatives and funding proposals.
