About the School of Communication, Media and Journalism

Our vision

The School of Communication, Media and Journalism raises the bar for creative and strategic communication. Our graduates are ready to spark conversations and evoke emotions across a wide variety of industries.

At Adelaide University's School of Communication, Media and Journalism, our students have access to unique opportunities and experiences, taking their educational experience to the next level.

Here, students can undertake South Australia’s only Journalism degree, create in front of one of South Australia’s largest green screens, and collaborate with industry partners such as Channel 44. Selected students can apply their learning in the Australian Lab for Immersive Technologies, right here on campus.

We empower students through hands-on learning, strong industry connections, and rich experiences through placements and collaborative projects. Some of our long-term partners include the Adelaide Film Festival, Bus Stop Films, and the SA Press Club.

We help our students turn their creative passions into global careers.
