Dr Jillian Marsh also graduated with a PhD, in Geographical & Environmental Studies. Her thesis, which created some media attention in the lead-up to her graduation, is titled: A Critical Analysis of Decision-Making Protocols used in Approving a Commercial Mining Licence for the Beverley Uranium Mine in Adnyamathanha Country: Toward Effective Indigenous Participation in Caring for Cultural Resources.
