Youth forum on sustainability University of Adelaide double degree student Nikki Hebenstreit has been selected to take part in a national youth forum on sustainability. The 21-year-old Environmental Studies and Law student is representing the State at an Australia India Universities Youth Forum from 28 June-12 July. A total of 57 university students from Australia and India will undertake a series of sustainability workshops and field visits in NSW, the ACT and Northern Territory.
Future energy focus: Research Tuesday The highly successful Research Tuesday public seminar series gives leading experts from the University of Adelaide an opportunity to engage with business, community leaders and the general public on issues that impact on them. This month's Research Tuesday at 5.30pm on 8 July will see Professor Gus Nathan discuss pathways towards a more sustainable energy future. Admission is free and open to all. Medical research goes public Members of the public have the opportunity to see and hear about some of the world-class research being conducted by University of Adelaide students at the second annual Postgraduate Research Day held by the Faculty of Health Sciences. Prizes totalling $8000 will be presented to postgraduate students for their work, with posters and talks showcasing the breadth and depth of research talent. The research day will be held at the National Wine Centre, Adelaide, from 10.00am to 5.00pm on Tuesday 22 July.
