LBT Innovations Disrupting the Pathology Market with AI

Adelaide based LBT Innovations is using AI developed in partnership with researchers from the Australian Institute for Machine Learning to sort microbial culture plates into three categories: positive, negative, and to be reviewed. Given the vast majority of the plates are negative, the system which is said to have a three times speedup compared manual assessments, allows microbiologist to focus more of their time on research.
