Maths Learning Centre 32nd Anniversary Celebration
The Maths Learning Centre at the University of Adelaide opened in June 1992, so that means 2024 marks the MLC’s 32nd anniversary. The number 32 is a pretty special number – it’s the fifth power of 2, and it’s the decimal place in π when you finally have seen all ten of the decimal digits – so we decided that 32 was a good year to celebrate!
If you are one of the people who visited the MLC as a student, we would be delighted to invite you to our 32nd Anniversary Celebration on Wednesday 17th of July 2024. Afternoon tea and birthday cake will be provided, and there will be mathematical games and activities to play.
