Women in STEM Alumni Network Committee
The University of Adelaide Women in STEM Alumni Committee (WiSAN) act as representatives of the University's Women in STEM Alumni cohort.
The driving force behind the Women in STEM Alumni Network, each committee member volunteers their time to assist in developing and executing a wide range of events and programs aimed at connecting our University of Adelaide alumni from degrees in the sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Mission Statement
The Women in STEM Alumni Network aims to develop and foster a supportive, diverse and inspiring community for its graduates through engagement, peer mentoring, personal and professional development and support for the next generation of Women in STEM.

Applications are now open for alumni to join the Women in STEM Alumni Network (WiSAN) Committee. New members will have a key role in driving WiSAN alumni activities for the next 24 months and work closely with the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology.

Current vacancies
Are you a woman-identifying University of Adelaide STEM alumna? Do you want to foster a supporting, diverse and inspiring community for women in STEM? Are you passionate about shining a light on STEM careers, alumnae and industry?
WiSAN is currently calling for expressions of interest to join their committee. Positions types are currently open for the roles of Social Media and General Committee Member - apply now to be part of a committee that represents more than 17,000 women around the world.

Current vacancies
Committee Member Role Responsibilities Social Media (one role) • Creating event posters using Canvas
• Posting across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook)
• Liaising with events team and committee to post relevant updatesGeneral Committee
(multiple roles)- Work amongst teams as needed
- Regular check-ins with each team
- Set up and pack down of events
Commitments
- 1 x meeting a month
- Average of 1-2 hours a week (more at peak times)
- Attending WISAN events (when possible)
