Alumni, their partners and friends are invited to join us for fantastic night of reminiscing about days gone by and sharing plans for adventures still to come. There will also be a complimentary afternoon tour of the teaching and research wine making facilities of the Hickinbotham Roseworthy Wine Science Laboratory at the University's Waite Campus (map), prior to the dinner.

Guest speakers
For this reunion, we have organised a fantastic panel of guest speakers who will reflect on their Roseworthy days and discuss what they're up to now. The panel will be moderated by alumnus Iain Riggs AM (RDOen 1976) and we will hear from Tamara Grischy (Wine Marketing 1992) and Ian Hongell (Wine 1993).
Iain Riggs AM
Chief Winemaker and Managing Director, Brokenwood Wines
A wine industry veteran, Iain led the rise of Brokenwood winery, redefined Hunter Valley wine and became a leader in the region. In 2018 Iain was named a Member of the Order of Australia for his service to oenology, the Australian wine industry and promotion of the Hunter Valley region.
Tamara Grischy
Head of Langton's
Tamara leads the team at Langton's, Australia's premier fine wine business. Tamara also owns the Silent Way winery and is a Woman of Inspiration award winner at the Australian Women in Wine Awards.
Ian Hongell
Chief Winemaker and General Manager, Torbreck Vintners Barossa Valley and Escarpment Winery Martinborough NZ
Ian’s accomplishments include a 2009 scholar at the Len Evans Tutorial, staring in Tyson Stetzer’s TV mini-series, People of the Vines and is a highly sought after wine show judge, both nationally and regionally. In 2016 Ian was appointed by the fraternity order of the Barossa as a “Baron of the Barossa” in recognition for service to the Barossa community and winemaking.

This reunion will be the perfect opportunity to catch-up with old friends and teachers over a sumptuous dinner at the Adelaide Convention Centre. You will have the opportunity to meet professors and mentors from your time at the University.
