Governor’s message of support for students

His Excellency the Hon. Hieu Van Le AC, Governor of South Australia, is the latest of our alumni to send a message of support to students during the global COVID-19 pandemic.

His Excellency graduated from the University of Adelaide in Economics and Accounting and also with a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

The Hon. Hieu Van Le became Governor in 2014. He is patron of more than 200 organisations and has been recognised widely for his service to the community and multiculturalism, including a Centenary of Federation Medal, Companion of the Order of Australia (AC) and an Honorary Doctorate from both University of Adelaide and Flinders University.

This message is thanks to the collaboration between the University of Adelaide and Adelaide University Union (AUU) to help support students’ wellbeing during the global pandemic.
