CADR-RAS announces exciting webinar series to foster collaboration among RAS researchers

Leading experts to present on Advancements in Robotics and Autonomous Systems.

To foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among researchers in the field of Robotics and Autonomous Systems (RAS), the Centre for Advanced Defence Research in Robotics and Autonomous Systems (CADR-RAS) at the University of Adelaide is proud to announce an engaging series of webinars scheduled to commence in September.

The CADR-RAS Webinar series is set to provide a platform for RAS researchers to showcase their project findings, discuss emerging trends, and delve into the latest advancements in A.I. and robotic technology. This Webinars are designed to support a collaborative mindset within the RAS community, fostering innovation and synergy among researchers and professionals in the field.

The inaugural webinar, scheduled for Thursday, September 28, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm (Australian Central Standard Time), will focus on the topic of "IoMT Sensor Placement Research and Development." Leading this insightful discussion will be Dr. Saber Elasyd and Benjamin Campbell, who will provide valuable insights into this cutting-edge area of research.
Gregory Davis, Centre Manager at CADR-RAS, expressed his anticipation for this collaborative endeavour, stating, "We look forward to your ongoing involvement and the opportunity to explore innovative research in Robotics and Autonomous Systems together."

Webinar format:

The webinars will be conducted via Microsoft Teams, offering a convenient and accessible platform for participants. Each session will consist of a one-hour program featuring presentations by lead researchers and defence project leads, followed by an interactive Q&A session. This format is designed to encourage engagement and knowledge sharing among the RAS community.
