Bachelor of Architectural Design (Honours)

Turn high-achieving into a higher degree

There are many reasons we encourage graduates to apply for an honours year. You might want to build a necessary foundation for the Masters (by research) program. You could be seeking answers to design questions no one else has asked. Perhaps you’re pursuing advanced communication skills and subject knowledge to gain a competitive edge in the job market.

Our prerequisite for honours study is at least a credit standard GPA.

What will you do?

  • Attend regular classes for advanced coursework.
  • Partner with an academic mentor who’ll support and encourage your intellectual development.
  • Produce an extended research project in an area related to urbanism, design, or architectural history, theory and culture.

  • Access state-of-the-art computer-aided design, BIM and 3D modelling facilities
  • Learn from our award-winning industry professors
  • Showcase your work and network with future employers at annual exhibitions
