The Bachelor of Health and Medical Sciences was a really good opportunity to explore different areas of health—from physiology to public health. What I love most about my work is seeing the direct impacts of the work that we're doing. It's incredible to be able to use the health skills and knowledge that I've attained and be able to use it so quickly, and really contribute.
One of the best things about studying at the University of Adelaide is the passion and the enthusiasm the professors bring to the courses. It was a very welcoming and very supportive environment to study in.
The degree is taught by the very best experts of biostatistics in Australia and I found the interactions with them incredibly formative. The most exciting thing about the degree is learning specialised skills that help us advise investigators on planning medical research effectively, from the early stages of an idea for a research question to how to implement it with a sound research design and analysis.
