  • Biography/ Background

    Gail Anderson graduated from University of Melbourne School of Veterinary Science and then went on to an internship and residency in Surgery at the Ontario Veterinary College in Ontario, Canada. She completed her MSc in Comparative Orthopaedics also at OVC and then went on to her PhD at the University of Toronto in Osteoclast Cell Biology. She is a registered specialist veterinary surgeon via Diplomate status of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons and honorary Diplomate status of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons. Gail is a Principal Fellow, Higher Education Academy, UK. She gained her CCRP from U Tennessee that makes her the equivalent of a canine rehabiliation therpaist. She is currently the Project Leader for the ComPass Animal Welfare Training project for ANZCCART.

    When time permits, she is a keen walker, gardener, cyclist, dog nut and ukulele player.
