Biography/ Background
Dr. Mejia is an oral epidemiologist with a focus on population surveys and population health research methods. She is particularly interested in studying the impact of dental disease and disparities in oral health and access to dental care. Her roles at the Australian Research Centre for Population Oral Health (ARCPOH) include course coordinator for Community Dentistry V (undergraduate), postgraduate program coordinator and team leader for teaching and learning.
