Biography/ Background
Dr Carroll studied Regulatory T cell immunology under Prof Kathryn Wood, Nuffield Department of Surigical Sciences, University of Oxford.
Currently is a Transplant Nephrologist at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Senior Lecturer with the University of Adelaide and has supervised Dr Hope and Dr Stead to completion of their PhD with a Dean's Commendation for thesis excellence. He has also supervised several Honours students to 1st class honours.

Research Interests
I am a clinician scientist with roles in HLA and non HLA antibodies- I am a Clinical Consultant to the Australian Red Cross Blood Service in Adelaide and Melbourne with roles in standardising organ crossmatching across Australia.
I run national programmes to allow Nurses and Doctors to come to Adelaide to review the country's first Renal Transition and Young Adult Renal Clinics.
My research includes 35 publications- with 16 first or senior author with >550 citations.
