    NotesYuan received many scholarships and awards funded by ARC, DST and UofA, in addition to the Australian Government RTPS. He also established a close collaboration with IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics Society, and served in many profes-sional activities including organising some renowned international conferences (ICMLC, ICWAPR and ISIKM) in Adelaide as the Local Arrangement Chair/Co-Chair.
