Pathways into post-school education and employment: the lived experience of young adults with disability

Autism

Despite the benefits both individually (e.g. financial, wellbeing, self-worth) and for society more broadly (e.g. national output, social cohesion), finding and sustaining employment is a challenge for people with disability.

This study uses semi-structured interviews to understand the lived experiences of post-school pathways for young adults with disability, focusing on identifying the enablers and barriers to successfully transitioning into education and employment, and identifying potential avenues for facilitating successful education and employment outcomes.
