The PRIF Mining Consortium and the Training Center hosted a joint booth at METPLANT 2023

It was a fantastic experience attending METPLANT 2023 on 5 to 8 November 2023 at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

Many topics discussed were highly relevant to the PRIF Mining Consortium and ARC Training Centre. These included process control advances, real-time monitoring and control, mill liner case studies, and machine learning applications.

The PRIF and the TC had an opportunity to display posters showcasing our achievements and upcoming technologies. 

The winners of the poster competition are Dr Richmond Asamoah and Clement Lartey whose posters are titled ‘Knowing your pulp chemistry variables improves your ability to predict copper flotation recovery’ and ‘Developing a flotation predictive model using pulp chemistry sensor data’, respectively.

Our booth was well-visited by industry partners and many conference participants. It was great to catch up with PRIF partners and our Аlumni, as well as to meet new people and learn about new technologies.
