Dr Carol Lefevre is the Second Coetzee Centre Writer in Residence
Fiction author Carol Lefevre has been awarded a Copyright Agency fellowship to become the second Coetzee Centre Writer in Residence. The $30,000 fellowship – funded by the Copyright Agency’s Cultural Fund – will see Dr Lefevre become writer-in-residence for six months, based at the J.M. Coetzee Centre for Creative Practice. Throughout her residency, Dr Lefevre will be working on her new work, an Australian historical novel that follows a travelling circus through the outback during the droughts of the 1890s.

Visiting Professors: Peter Arnds and Thomas Mical
Associate Professor Peter Arnds (Trinity College Dublin) and Professor Thomas Mical (Auckland University of Technology) are Visiting Professors at the J.M. Coetzee Centre for Creative Practice in 2016.
