Designing Blended Learning

Blended learning can enhnance learning through harnessing the benefits of the on-campus and online learning environments.

In this session you will hear from peers about the succeses and challenges of blending a course. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss how blended learning concepts could be transferred to your discipline context.

Through engaging in this session, participants will be able to:

  • Identify elements of blended learning design practice shared by peers which they can apply to their own disciplinary context

  • Discuss benefits and challenges to implementing blended learning design

This ADEPT session is designed for those with course coordinator or course design responsibilities who are new to blended learning. The session will be highly interactive. It is suggested that you first access these two resources for an introduction to blended learning:
