New Alumni Council Chair
The University of Adelaide Alumni Council has welcomed a new Chair: Ms Robyn Mudie.
Robyn was born and raised in Adelaide and holds a BA (Hons) from our University (1989).
She is a senior career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Over the course of her career, she has served in Hanoi, at the Australian Permanent Missions to New York and Geneva, and as Australian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Most recently, Robyn was Australian Ambassador to Vietnam from 2019 to 2022.
Robyn will be Chair of the Alumni Council for two years, until 31 August 2025. She replaces Louisa Rose who held the position for eight years.
The University acknowledges and thanks Louisa for her huge contribution to the Council and the University, and welcomes Robyn to her new role.
The Alumni Council was established in 2014 to help increase awareness about what it means to be an alum of the University, build a sense of pride, foster connections, grow alumni programs, and keep alumni informed.
