Executives set to learn from one of the best business minds

The University of Adelaide's Faculty of Professions is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Jeremy Glaros as the new Director of the Adelaide Business School’s Executive Education unit.

An expert in business development and strategic direction, Mr Glaros will use his knowledge and experience in leadership, strategy and business transformation to deliver high-quality training programs for tomorrow’s top-flight executives.

Mr Glaros is currently an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company’s Sydney office, where he was responsible for solving complex business issues across industries including retail banking, insurance, B2B services, agriculture and telecommunications. He was also a Division Director in Macquarie Bank responsible for developing bespoke products and managing product sales across Asia.

“Jeremy’s experience developing transformation and business improvement strategies across a diverse suite of industries will give him a unique perspective when developing tailored programs for professionals keen to broaden their skillsets and advance their careers,” says Mr Paul Hutchinson, Executive Director, Faculty of Professions, University of Adelaide.

After graduating from the University of Adelaide in 2001 with a Bachelor of Engineering, Mr Glaros enrolled into a Graduate Diploma in Business Enterprise at Adelaide. He has worked for nearly 20 years with key players in the financial sector in Asia and beyond, obtaining a Masters of Finance in 2012 from INSEAD.

“My business-related study added enormous value to my engineering qualifications,” Mr Glaros says. “I’m thrilled to be using this experience in a role that will see me develop offerings to support aspiring business leaders with professional development programs. Individual development ultimately translates to growth within organisations.”

Mr Glaros will take up his position on Monday 21 May 2018.
