Sports week and Vice-Chancellor's Cup

Register daily teams of 4 (2 staff: 1M+1F, 2 students: 1M+1F) per Faculty/Division and compete in fun-filled sports & activities including: Cornhole, Table Tennis, Volleyball, 3x3 Basketball & the VC Cup 800m Relay.

Research Tuesdays: 3 Minute Thesis

Explaining years of research in three minutes, using only one PowerPoint slide is the challenge for 10 of our PhD students. Ten finalists will compete for the main prize, competing in the Asia Pacific finals. Tuesday 12 September, 5.30–6.30 pm. The Braggs building, North Terrace campus in person and online.

2023 Oxford Lecture

The 2023 Oxford Lecture is hosted by AIML as the theme this year will focus on Machine Learning. It will take place in the AIML Atrium. Titled "How genuine is artificial intelligence?", this lecture will be delivered by Professor Gerard O'Brien, Honorary Professor of Philosophy at the University of Adelaide. Elder Music lab

The Elder Conservatorium, Adelaide, and the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, Singapore, reunite for the second instalment of their pioneering, cross-cultural collaborative endeavour. The two conservatoriums will form an ensemble composed of students from both schools, giving live performances in Adelaide and then Singapore. Friday 15 September, 7-9 pm.
