C. Moraïtis Annual Hellenic lecture

The Classics discipline at the University of Adelaide will hold the C. Moraïtis Annual Hellenic lecture with special guest speaker Professor Julia Kindt (Sydney University) discussing her new book The Trojan Horse and Other Stories. Ten Ancient Creatures that Make Us Human (Cambridge 2024), a study of humankind's relationship with animals, which Stephen Fry has described as producing "insights ... that are enthralling and profound"). This is a free public lecture on May 28, Napier G04, 7-8:30pm. The lecture is followed by a short prize giving ceremony for high-achieving students (Galatis awards).
