Eat the Invaders is a six-part series examining how Australia might deal with some of its most problematic invasive species by posing a bold question: can we curb the damage caused by deer, cane toads, rabbits, cats, carp, and camel, by turning them into dinner?
A collaboration between the Environment Institute, Australian Wildlife Conservancy, Biodiversity Council, ABC Impact and Partnerships, and Closer Productions this special event will feature screening of Episode 5 "Cat", followed by an interactive panel discussion and Q&A.
Join Professors Andrew Lowe and Phill Cassey (Environment Institute) Jaana Dielenberg (Biodiversity Council), and Dr Alexandra Ross (Australian Wildlife Conservancy) as they delve into the challenges and possibilities to manage these invasive species.
