Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Adelaide University invites you to Young Women in STEM!
Please join us in encouraging women to pursue careers in the growing fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM)! These students will have the opportunity to meet current women studying STEM, while undertaking a range of engaging hands-on activities, taught by technologists, engineers, scientists and mathematicians.
New in 2025, we are inviting all participating schools to attend a half-day career skills workshop - where students will develop their personal brand, gain networking skills, and identify their own strengths.
We are seeking undergraduate students, postgraduate students, academics and alumni to be mentors for the career skills workshops, and network with young girls to pursue a career in STEM!
The dates and times for the workshops are as follows:
Tuesday 1st of July 9:30am-11:30pm AND 12:30pm-2:30pm
Wednesday 2nd of July 9:30am-11:30pm AND 12:30pm-2:30pm
To thank you for your time, lunch and a coffee voucher, as a token of appreciation, will be provided. For HDR students, 6 CaRST credits will be awarded in Domain D (certificate to be awarded after attendance - self recorded activity).
We look forward to welcoming the next generation of young women in STEM to our campus!
