He has published 4 books, most recently Methods in Ancient Wine Archaeology (2024) and Vine-growing and Winemaking in the Roman World (2025), and over 35 refereed journal articles and chapters. Emlyn's research has appeared across major print, tv and radio media, including on the ABC, BBC, National Geographic and in The Guardian, NBC News and The Washington Post.
