Join us for Research Tuesdays, a free and public lecture series hosted by The University of Adelaide. This month, Robinson Research Institute members, Associate Prof David Parsons and Associate Prof Martin Donnelly, present X-ray Velocimetry (XV), a Eureka-prize-awarded technology pioneered by our researchers, which offers unparalleled precision in assessing lung health, including imaging and visualising the lung’s dynamic movement. With conditions like Cystic Fibrosis, early detection can mean the difference between life—and a lifetime of complications. But with the limitations of conventional methods of diagnosis, early-stage diseases in young children often go undetected, robbing them of a chance at preventative treatments. Join us to learn about the breakthrough technology, X-ray Velocimetry, and its promising trajectory.
This event can be attended in-person or online.
