Hear from foremost medical oncologist and cancer research expert Professor Christopher Sweeney as he details how SAiGENCI aims to tackle the "why?" of cancer. Why do some people get cancer while others don’t? Why do some have good outcomes with treatment while others have poor outcomes? And how will SAiGENCI - South Australia’s new collaborative hub for cancer research - answer these important questions? Professor Sweeney will also share insights on exciting developments in cancer research and the team of world-class experts, researchers and clinicians that SAiGENCI is assembling - right here in Adelaide - to seek the answers. There will be a session after the lecture to allow you to ask more questions.
