As an engineering and maths student, being a student ambassador has been a great experience. I've been able to develop my communication and public speaking skills, delivering presentations and campus tours to large groups of school students and other audiences. This has been extremely transferrable to my STEM career so far, helping me communicate more effectively in academic and internship settings. I love being able to get students excited about the amazing opportunities available to them at university and give them confidence that they can find their passion and excel at the University of Adelaide!

Being a student ambassador has offered a lot of exciting opportunities and experiences. I have talked to high school students about university life, spoken at career expos about studying engineering, all my engineering projects and even my club activities. I am super grateful for being able to inspire the next generation to do STEM and hopefully encourage them to think about that as a career.
