Doing co-design: fostering community engagement and research impact
This workshop introduces participants to the principles, processes and practices of co-design and its relevance for research collaboration, partnerships, and creative outputs. The workshop includes practical examples of where co-design works well through exploring case studies of community based participatory research. Having difficult HDR supervision conversations
Part of supervising HDR students can involve having challenging conversations. This supervision workshop will provide practical tips on having difficult conversations in supervisory practice, and look at HDR supervision scenarios. Tuesday 23 April, 1.30–3 pm, via Zoom. Register.

How can you identify predatory journals (and conferences) which might damage your research impact and professional reputation if you publish with them? This workshop will help you assess a journal/conference to identify whether it is legitimate or possibly predatory. Thursday 21 March, 11 am to 12 pm. Register.
Researchers workshop: Programming with Python
Python is a popular program for scientific computing among researchers, but getting started can be challenging, especially if you have never programmed before. This live coding workshop will introduce you to Python through the use of Jupyter notebooks to write programs and produce results. Thursday 7 and Friday 8 March 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. Online.
