Networking opportunity for students interested in a career in the GLAM Industries.
The University of Adelaide Library actually comprises four libraries: The Barr Smith Library, The Waite Library, The Law Library and the Roseworthy Library. It is also the official University archive, a museum of rare books and special collections and a gallery, regularly exhibiting works of visual art. The fields of work that are involved in Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums are collectively known as "GLAM". Eminent speakers will contribute to a panel discussion hosted by the Director of Post Office Projects, Eleanor Scicchitano. To be held in the iconic Elder Hall on North Terrace, this will be a fascinating evening for anyone interested in what it's like to work in a gallery, library, archive or museum.
