PIRA’s Federal Election Forum

The University of Adelaide Politics and International Relations Association (PIRA) is hosting a public discussion panel on 29 April 2025, on the Tuesday before the Federal Election called for Saturday 3 May 2025. 

Attendance is open to the general public, as well as the University Community. 

The discussion panel will address various themes, focusing on issues affecting youth and the priorities outlined in the 2024 Australian Youth Representative to the United Nations Report.

The Forum will feature four candidates:

  • Senator Karen Grogan, Senator for South Australia, Australian Labor Party
  • Nicolle Flint, Candidate for Boothby, Liberal Party
  • Senator Barbara Pocock, Senator for South Australia, Australian Greens
  • Rex Patrick, Senate Candidate, Jacqui Lambie Network

Further candidates from major parties have confirmed their attendance at the event. 

The Forum will take place on Tuesday 29 April 2025, commencing at 6:00pm at the University of Adelaide, Braggs Lecture Theatre. The Forum is expected to last 90 minutes.
