Simple Content Slider

A content slider is designed to be used to promote specific pages, links or campaigns within the site in much the same way as description panels do. The key difference with this pattern is the fact the one element handles multiple content items:

• Selection of a suitable image to support the lead in text.
• A short supporting title and description and vital CTA/link and selection of a suitable thumbnail image forms the basic elements of this UI pattern.

A text only slider is also an suitable option on a page when other competing UI elements such as pods may be dominate.
