Feature Pods

Designed to attract attention and increase visitation to content within the site, the below Pods should be used as key visual linking pattern.

Please take into consideration that Pods are not to be overused throughout a site and are primarily to be used on the home or top level of a site only. Various other UI design patterns are more suitable for content throughout and linking to subpages of the site.

Pods can be displayed in single or double rows; 2x1 & 2x2 when a widget is present, and the flexibility to use a 3x1 when there is no widget.

Useful for when you still want a large graphic but want to add some extra information on a page. Can also be used to highlight something on a page and use this as more of a layout tool. Maximum pods on a page with this pattern is 4 as in this pattern.

The more widely used pattern is the description panels.
