Spencer Gulf Ecosystem and Development Initiative (SGEDI)
The Environment Institute is facilitating change, whilst maintaining the integrity of Spencer Gulf. SGEDI develops tools for predicting interactions of future ports and shipping scenarios with other industries, whilst communicating with stakeholders and broader community.
Bushfire response
After the devastating fires in 2010/2019, the Environment Institute collated a list of talented experts within the University of Adelaide with crucial skills for fire recovery, who were ready to aid in the recovery efforts and to help prepare for future events.
