Adelaide University’s School of Education delivers research-informed practice and hands-on learning opportunities to students, industry and communities.
Taught by world-class academics, students learn in modern purpose-built learning environments and gain invaluable practical experience to prepare for rewarding careers. An essential component of teacher preparation, we place strong emphasis on professional experience placements which integrate on-campus learning with practical classroom experience. Our team works in partnership with schools, preschools and childcare centres to coordinate placements for thousands of preservice teachers across both the Bachelor and Master of Teaching programs.
Our research spans from inclusive education and equitable social policy through to the implementation of engaging digital learning environments that benefit all learners. Research conducted within the School of Education goes beyond traditional classrooms by exploring complex challenges in various teaching settings, including those in higher education.
