Cooking class - dumplings
Thanks to our students volunteers, The Village community learned the secret of making dough and the art to shaping the perfect dumpling in this cooking class. Another great way to engage with our fellow residents.

Summer is the perfect time to visit Glenelg, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Adelaide due to its beach and many attractions.
Australia Day 2020
Australia Day is the official national day of Australia and The Village celebrated this special day on 26 January with our student residents.
Chinese New Year 2020
25 January 2020 marked the beginning of the Year of the Rat (Chinese New Year) and The Village organised a special event to discover the bright and colorful Chinese New Year, its origins, meanings and more. We also enjoyed traditional food and learned more about the 'Red packets'.
It's all about Tennis - QUIZ NIGHT
During the Australian Open, our residents were put under test with our "IT'S ALL ABOUT TENNIS" QUIZ Night.
"Game of Thrones" Trivia night
The long awaited release of Game of Thrones season 8 is over. Village residents will put their skills to the test with our Game Of Thrones Trivia night on Sunday 14 April. We will be streaming live the entire S8, express from the US commencing Monday 15 April.
The biggest puzzle challenge
This April, Village residents will be taking the challenge of putting together a wide variety of 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles. Welcome to one of the most extraordinary educational experiences our residents will ever have!
Calendar of Social Events - FEBRUARY 2019
Every month, The Village produces a calendar of social activities for our residents to participate and enhance their student experience. In February, our newly arriving students will have the opportunity to visit local attractions guided by a Village staff member, including tours to the German town of Hahndorf and the Gorge Wildlife Conservation Park. In addition, four HELLO Sessions have been scheduled to welcome our new residents.
