Medical technology company LBT Innovations Limited (ASX: LBT) has signed an agreement with the Switzerland-based laboratory instrumentation company, Hettich AG Switzerland, to finalise a partnership to complete the development and commercialisation of LBT’s Automated Plate Assessment System (APAS®).

The US patent office has granted the patent which covers the large-scale surveillance technology being commercialised by SNAP Surveillance.

ARC LIEF grant success
ACVT (now AIML) has been awarded $210,000 through the ARC Linkage Infrastructure and Equipment Facilities (LIEF) program to further develop its Machine Learning capacity.

The Canon “Best Recognition Paper” Prize was awarded by Canon Information Systems Research Australia (CiSRA) to Visual Distance Measures for Object Retrieval.
