Adelaide University Sport scholarships

Various scholarships are offered by Adelaide University Sport to first year students and current students. Please visit Adelaide University Sport for detailed information, including nomination forms.

Vice-Chancellor’s travel grant

Each year, the Vice-Chancellor provides sport travel grants to assist those representing Australia in their sport. If, at any time in the year, you are selected for a touring team and would like to apply for this funding, please contact AU Sport. UniSport Nationals grant

UniSport Nationals provides the opportunity for students from 43 universities across Australia to compete head to head in a number of national standard sporting competitions.  

The Nationals are comprised of two flagship events, The UniSport Nationals Div 1 and 2, and as well as a number of standalone competitions. Many have the support of National Sporting Organisations.

The UniSport Nationals Div 1 and 2 events will see more than 8,000 student-athletes head to the Gold Coast in the year to compete in 32 different sports. To ensure the University of Adelaide is represented by its strongest team, AU Sport provides financial assistance to Elite Athletes attending, through reimbursement of the registration fee.

AU Elite Athlete Bursary

Elite Athletes, who are financial members of an AU Sport Club, can apply for an Elite Athlete Bursary to assist in National and/or International competition costs. The maximum grant amount per individual is 50% of total costs, up to $500.
