SA Women's & Gender Studies Annual Public Lecture 2021

Dr Juliet Watson, President of the Australian Women's and Gender Studies Association, will be giving a public lecture in July. Her research has been concentrated in the area of gender and homelessness. In harm's way: Fay Gale member Carol Johnson, Emerita Professor of Politics at the University of Adelaide, writes about Scott Morrison's performance of 'protective masculinity' in the current climate of sexual assault allegations in Federal Parliament. Her article draws on her contribution to the volume Gender Politics: Navigating Political Leadership in Australia, edited by Zareh Ghazarian and Katrina Lee-Koo, to be published by UNSW Press in May.
