2020s Vision - Economic Future of Women in Australia

Fay Gale member A/Prof Duygu Yengin (Director of Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, School of Economics, UoA)  is part of an upcoming panel presentation presentation on the economic future of women in Australia. Presented by The Bob Hawke Prime Ministerial Centre and BPW Adelaide, the panel asks these question: What are the most important issues facing women today, how are we addressing those issues and what more can be done to improve women’s economic security? When: May 20, 2021 at 6 pm Where: Allan Scott Auditorium, Hawke Building level 5, UniSA, 55 North Terrace, Adelaide. 

The panel will also consider: 

  • What opportunities have arisen for women to improve their financial position during COVID-19? 
  • How do women grasp these and move ahead?
  • With 2020 vision, let’s clarify what we should focus on to improve financial literacy, close the gender and superannuation gaps
