Reading Feminism: May Book Club Meeting

Join us on for our May book club meeting. May's book is Women, Race & Class by Angela Y. Davis. In this work, a classic of feminist, Marxist, Black and anti-racist theory and theorising, Davis writes a history of women, race, and class in the United States. The book is a crucial example of a work that enacts what we today might call intersectional analysis to interrogate existing worlds in order produce radical new feminist / anti-racist / Marxist visions and futures. When: Wednesday, 26th of May, 5:30 pm. Where: Lower Napier, LG24 Lecture Room, Adelaide University.

A book cover with white and yellow text. The cover is black. The text reads Angela Davis Women, Race & Class. There is a picutre in the centre of Angela Davis.
