A Workshop on Gender in the Health Curriculum

The Alliance of Gender Scholars took part in a workshop with Professor Vivienne Moore on Thursday 27th to discuss her efforts to challenge the ideas that our evolutionary biology creates distinctive brains, aptitudes and behaviours in men and women. And that these can unwittingly be reinforced in reproductive health and other subjects, merely through silence. Please email gender@adelaide.edu.au if you know/have any Honours or post-graduate students with a focus on gender who would like to get involved with the Alliance or if you would like to run a workshop/discussion group or presentation with Alliance members.
