Give in Memory Or Celebration

A gift in memory is a meaningful way to pay tribute to a loved one, or to celebrate a special occasion.

Gifts will have a lasting impact, and you can support a cause that is significant to the person you wish to honour, such as scholarships or ground-breaking research.

If you would like to collect gifts in lieu of flowers at a funeral service, we can provide donation envelopes, sent directly to you or to the nominated funeral home.

The family of the deceased will be notified of the donors' names and the total amount received (without individual gifts disclosed), and donors may remain anonymous. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.

You can make a memorial or celebration donation online at any time. The gift can support a specific area of the University, such as the Barr Smith Library, or students through scholarships. If you know the next of kin details, we can send them an acknowledgment of the gift, or you can choose to remain anonymous.
